The Royal Marines are a small, but powerful Corps trained to operate in any climate or terrain using their amphibious capability as a form of insertion or extraction. The Royal Marines approximate strength is just 6,000 trained personnel and at any one time more than 450 trained ranks may be assigned to specialist training.
