In most cases you will have received a letter from me or have been notified by the ERO in your unit that you are 2'/2 years (12 months for Notice) from TX. Medical dischargees see page 11. It is important that you attend 2 mandatory interviews with either your ERO or RMRIO:

1. Initial - ideally taken at the 2'/2 year point but definitely within 3 months. Notice within
2 months.

2. Final - taken about 9 months from TX. It confirms your plans, your sense of direction and your
knowledge of the various agencies able to help now and after your departure. Notice givers should
arrange their final interview at the 3 month point to TX.

Officers are required to attend only one interview. Additionally during the 6 - 4 month period to TX a visit to Captain Brian Adams, the Employment Liaision Officer Navy, ELO (N) may be arranged. He can assist with civilian employment from his office. Room 6/176 St Christopher House, Southwark Street, London WC2N 5BL, tel: 0207 218 3641/3654, fax: 3884.

As well as the mandatory interviews RMRIO (at CTCRM) and all unit EROs are available for consultation throughout your Resettlement period together with advice from the CTP.
