Resettlement remains an eligibility and not an entitlement and your Head of Department/Officer Commanding retains the right to turn down your request for a Resettlement activity. In my experience this rarely happens; people usually go to considerable degrees of inconvenience to accommodate the Service leaver who should, in turn, look at unit programmes and plan well in advance.
